This little guy does great work. I used it to shred sweet potato’s and potatoes for home made hash browns, and then made potato chips with the thin slicer. I have not shredded cheese yet, but the slicer piece worked well and gave me nice thin slices of cheese for crackers, but it works even better on veggies like tomatoes and cucumber. I think this is probably my favorite kitchen gadget ever! It makes prep so much easier and faster! The suction is pretty sturdy as long as you really press it down in place first . Overall, I love this little thing and would highly recommend!
Very easy to use and clean! Quality product!
The fact that pre-shredded cheese has preservatives pushed me to find a grater for shredding block cheese. This grater is easy to use. Once locked onto a surface, it has very strong suction that holds it in place with no movement, making it easy, yes easy, to turn the handle and shred the cheese in very fine shreds or larger piece shreds. I have tried three to four different graters and have always dreaded shredding cheese or vegetables. I’m so glad I decided to try this one. Buy it, you won’t be sorry. It’s a great grater!!!
I have arthritis in my hands, elbows and shoulders. This meant when I needed to grate a small amount of cheese, I had to either suffer through the grater or pull out the food processor. This solved all of that. Very easy to set up, it has small shredder, larger shredder and slicer blades. Very easy to throw some cheese in, spin the handle and get exactly what I need. Cleanup is also very fast - run hot water over it and quickly hit it with the soapy sponge, rinse and let it dry.
Works like a charm. Reduces the time to grate cheese to a fraction of that required with our old manual grater. And there are no more bloody fingers when you get to the end of the block. I wish I'd found this earlier.
