I sleep on my side and my back. Sometimes my shoulder hurts or can't get comfortable so I sleep on my back, but I worried that my pillow was too thick and was pushing my head up in that forward (chicken-like) posture. I had heard you shouldn't have a pillow that was so thick that it was putting your head and neck out of alignment like that. But when I tried thinner pillows, I got a terribly sore neck! I decided to try this odd-looking pillow, and I have never had suck amazing comfort and support lying on my back! It really does support your neck and cradle your head well!
